Terms of Service

These terms govern how builders and testers use Gorol. By using the service, you agree to them.

This page is a starting template, not legal advice. Please review it with qualified counsel before relying on it.

1. Accounts and eligibility

You access Gorol by signing in with Google. You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for the accuracy of the information you provide.

2. Roles

You join as a tester or a client (builder). Testers find and report bugs. Clients post programs, fund a bounty pool, and triage reports. A Gorol admin handles arbitration and manual settlement.

3. The bounty model

Programs use open, exploratory testing with pay per valid bug. The first valid report on an issue wins. Duplicate reports earn nothing.

4. Scope and severity

Each client sets the scope of their program, and out-of-scope reports may be rejected. A tester proposes a severity with each report, and Gorol and the client finalize it before payout.

5. Payments

For now, funding and payouts are handled manually, and the in-app ledger is the source of truth. A client pre-funds the bounty pool, and an admin confirms money in and out off-platform. Gorol records a commission on both sides in the ledger.

6. Tester conduct

Reports must follow the template and include real evidence. Spam, low-quality, or bad-faith reports can lower your reputation and limit how often you can submit. Repeated abuse can lead to removal.

7. Client responsibilities

Clients fund the pool before publishing, triage reports in good faith, and finalize severity and payouts fairly. Test credentials and access details are shared with testers who join the program.

8. Disputes and arbitration

If a report is rejected, a tester can appeal. Gorol reviews the report, the client's reason, and the appeal, then upholds or overturns the decision. Gorol's decision resolves the dispute.

9. Prohibited conduct

Do not test outside the stated scope, attack systems that are not part of a program, or use Gorol for anything illegal. Treat access credentials and product details as confidential.

10. Disclaimer and liability

Gorol is provided on an as-is basis. To the extent permitted by law, Gorol is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the service.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product evolves. We will post the new version here and update the date above. Continued use means you accept the changes.
